Q: What’s the benefit of the 5m length?

A: The 5m line gives your dog more freedom to move while keeping you safely in control - ideal for recall training, open-space walks, or controlled exploration.

Q: How secure is the locking carabiner?

A: The carabiner must be manually locked in place before use. Once locked, it prevents accidental unclipping and holds firm under strong pulling force. This gives you complete comfort when your dog may be slightly further ahead than you, at full lead range.

Q: I need a longline that can handle a strong dog. Is this one reliable?

A: Yes. The Sledline Longline is built with the same durable and high tensile strength Biothane, used in our Control line range. The long line lead uses a locking climbing grade carabiner for maximum security and control, perfect for medium to large breeds with a little more power.

Q: How do I stop a longline from cracking or wearing out?

A: Biothane won’t crack, stretch, or fray like nylon or leather. It’s built to keep its shape, strength, and flexibility for years with minimal care. Sledline leads are built to outlast other standard leads. We use high quality, premium materials across the entirety of all of our range.

We offer a 5 year guarantee. If anything breaks we'll fix it. This wont include for any wear and tear, as over time we expect that your lead will be put to good use. Contact us by email should any of your hardware snap or fail, and we will advise of next steps. We will inspect the lead and subject to agreement, we'll replace any hardware free of charge. Postage back to you will be free, however sending back to us should be covered by the sender.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, and we dispatch in‑stock. Your order will be processed and delivered on average within 3-5 days. You’ll receive tracking details so you can follow your parcel’s progress. If the lead isn’t right for you, return it unused within 30 days - just get in touch and we’ll liaise with you on next steps.
