Q. Are the collars waterproof
A. Yes. Biothane does not absorb water and stays flexible in rain, mud and cold conditions. It dries quickly and does not hold odour
Q. What is the difference between the 25mm and 38mm collars
A. The 25mm is lighter for daily use. The 38mm is wider with stronger hardware and offers better pressure distribution for dogs that have a tendency to pull. The 38mm includes a larger heavy duty clip, larger D ring and paracord wrapped elements. The 38mm collar is also is split at the back by a 38mm O ring which allows for even more flex when sizing.
Q. Are these collars suitable for medium breeds
A. Yes. Both sizes use heavy duty hardware and incredibly durable material (Biothane) as the base material. The 38mm collar is built and designed for larger breeds, however it can be worn by a medium breed, it will be down to preference.
Q. How do I choose the right size
A. Measure your dog’s neck where the collar sits. Select the size that covers your measurement within the range shown on our size chart. All SLEDLINE collars are adjustable, allowing for loosening and tightening when required
Q. Will the collar rub or cause irritation
A. No. Biothane stays smooth, soft and flexible. It does not trap moisture or dirt which helps prevent rubbing during long wear. The Paracord wrap will around the front will act as additional cushioning for comfort and protection
Q. How do I clean the collar
A. Wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash in cold water. Biothane cleans easily and keeps its colour in all weather
We offer a 5 year guarantee. If anything breaks we'll fix it. This wont include for any wear and tear, as over time we expect that your lead will be put to good use. Contact us by email should any of your hardware snap or fail, and we will advise of next steps. We will inspect the lead and subject to agreement, we'll replace any hardware free of charge. Postage back to you will be free, however sending back to us should be covered by the sender.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, and we dispatch in‑stock. Your order will be processed and delivered on average within 5-7 days. You’ll receive tracking details so you can follow your parcel’s progress. If the lead isn’t right for you, return it unused within 30 days - just get in touch and we’ll liaise with you on next steps.
