Q: My old leads get soaked and smell. Will this one do the same?
A: No - Biothane is waterproof and odour-resistant. Mud and water wipe straight off, ensuring your lead stays clean and fresh, even after excessive use.
Q: I need a lead strong enough for a powerful dog. Is Biothane reliable?
A: Yes - Biothane is a lot more durable than standard materials, we also use strength tested hardware which adds to the safety and control given when using a Sledline lead. They are designed and built to handle the power of medium and large breeds.
Q: Leads I’ve tried before are hard to grip in bad weather. How is this different?
A: Biothane stays grippy even when wet and won’t absorb water, giving you control in all conditions.
Q: How do I stop a lead from cracking or wearing out quickly?
A: Biothane won’t crack, stretch, or fray like leather leads. With normal use, it keeps its strength and flexibility for years.
We offer a 5 year guarantee. If anything breaks we'll fix it. This wont include for any wear and tear, as over time we expect that your lead will be put to good use. Contact us by email should any of your hardware snap or fail, and we will advise of next steps. We will inspect the lead and subject to agreement, we'll replace any hardware free of charge. Postage back to you will be free, however sending back to us should be covered by the sender.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, and we dispatch in‑stock. Your order will be processed and delivered on average within 3-5 days. You’ll receive tracking details so you can follow your parcel’s progress. If the lead isn’t right for you, return it unused within 30 days - just get in touch and we’ll liaise with you on next steps.
